The NSU as it first arrived to us This car came to us mainly for front end work, there was plenty of small rusty section everywhere around the front end, but all in all it is a very original and straight car The most rust was underneath the front apron panel, as there is a reinforcement panel on the other end of the rusty panel, which helped the rust spread
Fabricated panel for front lower apron panel Trial fitting fabricated panel Clean and primed the reinforcement panel before welding fabricated panel in place
Rust was evident on O/S lower apron panel Welded panels in place as per original and lead wiped the areas were it distorted and no way of repairing because of the double panels Car in spray booth ready for primer
After applying epoxy primer we stone guarded all section needed as per original Inside section of panels painted prior to fitting on car Another view of front end stone guarded
Inner wheel arches painted Front end painted before fitment of the external panels to paint on the car External panels fitted permanently on the car to paint
Body painted, looking perfect straight off the gun Other angle of NSU painted Bonnet looking flawless
Door painted Front windscreen ready to be fitting in Car fitted up ready for customer to pick up
