Getting the car ready for us to begin the bodywork

As soon as we started removing the paint and stone guard and allot of body filler the extent of the rust was starting to become evident

 

Once we cleaned the floor pan, the rust was very evident Rusted out floor pan cut out
Shows the extent of the rust, and you could only tell how rusty it actually is, once you remove the inner and outer sills This view shows a bit of everything, plenty of filler on the lower quarter panel, bodgy patches on the insides and plenty of corrosion

The best part of the car was the bonnet, ready for primer

 

Rear tailgate panel off, as the owner has a new panel for us to fit in place, but before we do so there is allot of cleaning and preparing to do Tailgate panel welding place
