O&S Sports Car Restoration was established by Ohannes Akkirayian in February 1990. Ohannes has over 40 years experience in restoration, a master craftsman with the talent to fabricate virtually anything out of aluminium or steel, to perfection.

Earlier on in life, he worked in the restoration business in Europe, USA and South America. Then when Ohannes moved to Australia, over 25 years ago, he was a valued employee of a company called Classic Autocraft, in Concord Sydney. In the 1980's, they were known as being the ultimate in car restoration workshops in Australia with a world wide reputation for remanufacturing the Jaguar D-Type. Even the rivets on the body work were of the same number, spaced identically to the originals.

O&S Sports Car Restorations now has a team of seven, two body workers, two mechanics, a painter, trimmer, and a pattern maker. The latest member to join is Ohannes' son Ariel, who started his apprenticeship in 2001. A good teacher, a good pupil.
